WenMor Urban Farm is rooted in a simple belief: when we nurture the land, the land nurtures us back.
WenMor Urban Farm grew from a simple spark — two San Diegans, one documentary, and a shared “we could do that.” After watching Kiss the Ground, we (Ian and Nichelle) followed our curiosity straight into the soil. We moved, found a little patch of land, and started learning everything we could about compost, critters, and growing food that actually nourishes people.
Ian brought his garden‑educator magic, insect obsession, and years of community farming. Nichelle brought her project‑manager brain, love for animals, and a budding passion for horticultural therapy. Together, we founded WenMor Urban Farm in 2024.
Today, we tend soil, build gardens, support neighbors, and create spaces where people and plants can thrive side by side. A little whimsy, a lot of heart, and a belief that small urban plots can spark big change.
